In 2006, UGF staff members with support of the Board and the most active members focused on such objectives:
Objective 1. Enhance communication and mutual learning among members, find areas for possible coordination.

Objective 2. Promote the development of organized philanthropy in Ukraine through advocacy, and raising public awareness.

Objective 3. Develop and encourage high standards and good practice within philanthropic organizations.
